Plantation Petroleum Holdings II, LLC (2003-2005)

Plantation Petroleum Holdings II, LLC (PPH II) was formed in November 2003, again using the combined capital of EnCap Investments, LP, Liberty Energy Holdings, LLC and Plantation Petroleum Ventures II, LLC.

On November 12, 2003, PPH II closed on the stock acquisition of Zia Energy, Inc., a Hobbs, New Mexico family owned company.  Bank financing was provided by Bank of Texas, N.A.  These assets were operated as Zia Energy, Inc. until sold through the advisory services of Petrie Parkman & Co. to Range Resources Corp. on June 15, 2005.
